Dhruva Tara Story: King Uttanapada was the son of Svayambhuva Manu. He was married to a very beautiful girl named Sunity. The king used to love his wife very much but he had no children, so the queen asked King to get another marriage. The king loved his wife very much, so he refused and said that “the presence of a second wife would reduce your place”. Hearing this Sunit said, “I trust you, it will not happen”.
King had to believe in Sunita’s words and he got married again. His second wife’s name was Suruchi. After the marriage, Suruchi came the palace. Then she came to know about the king’s first wife. After knowing this, Suruchi said to Uttanapada- As long as your first wife does not depart, I will not enter the palace. After hearing this, Sunity herself left the palace and went to live in the forest.
After some time, the king went to the forest for hunting and got injured. When it came to know about Sunity, he brought the king to his cottage and treat him. The king lived with his first wife for several days. During this, Sunity became pregnant and she received a son, whose name was Dhruv, which was not known to the king. After a few days, the king went to his palace. There was also the presence of Son, Whose name is Uttam.
After some time, King Uttanapada is aware of Dhruv that he invites Rani to come to the palace but she did not come. Sometimes
Sometimes she would send the Dhruv. Seeing all this, Queen Suruchi starts loathing with Dhruv. One day Dhruv sits in the lap of his father Uttanapada. Seeing this, Queen Suruchi got angry and she insulted him by pushing as the son of the abandoned woman.
The little Dhruv came back in the cottage and told the whole incident to the mother. Then Mother Soul explains it. If someone says something bad, do not say bad words in return. It will only harm you. If you want to be respected in the lap of your father then worship Lord Vishnu, he is the father of the world.
This thing settles in the mind of the child Dhruv. And he goes to the Yamuna to make worship of Lord Vishnu. Knowing his mood, Narada comes and he tells the Dhruv the method of the devotion of God, After knowing that Dhruv gets absorbed in hard devotion. Standing for several months performs devotion. Sometimes he performs worship in water and then standing on one finger. The chanting of Namo Vasudev continuously resonates in the entire universe. Seeing this child’s penance of the child from Nanhe, God gives him a glimpse. The child Dhruv Bhavra starts growing and says I do not allow to sit in the lap of the father. My mother says that you are the father of this creation. So I have to sit in your lap. God fulfills his will and blesses him as a star, which will be even better than the Rishi. From that day onwards, the North direction and the Pole Star are shining in the sky.
